Gloucester County, NJ | November 30, 2022 – Newbridge Wireless is excited to announce the successful deployment of a fiber-based distributed antenna system (DAS) for an Amazon warehouse in southern New Jersey. The DAS was commissioned on November 30, 2022, and was designed specifically to meet the emergency responders radio coverage (ERRC) fire codes of Gloucester County. Our team of radio engineers worked closely with the general contractor and the county fire marshal’s office to ensure the success of this deployment in all aspects. We are proud to have been able to contribute to the public safety and preparedness of the Amazon warehouse.
All jurisdictions and fire departments across the country are adopting International Fire Code (IFC) Section 510 where ERRC radio quality standards are defined. DAS systems are an effective way to improve ERRC radio coverage in large buildings and other structures. By using a network of antennas and fiber optic systems, DAS can improve the ERRC radio quality, providing reliable coverage for emergency responders and other critical communications.
We are thrilled to have been able to bring this cutting-edge technology to the Amazon warehouse in southern New Jersey. Our team at Newbridge Wireless is dedicated to providing the highest quality radio coverage solutions to our clients, and we are proud to have been able to do so for this important project.
